What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They help websites work, stay secure and remember choices. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels; this policy covers all of them.
Our short answer
HomeScreen Pros only uses cookies that are needed to run the site securely. If we turn on analytics (Google Analytics) or advertising measurement (Meta Pixel), we show a cookie banner first, and those cookies are only set if you click "Accept". We do not sell browsing data.
Optional analytics and advertising cookies
When enabled and only after you accept, we may use Google Analytics (cookies such as _ga, up to 2 years) to understand how visitors use the site, and the Meta Pixel (cookies such as _fbp, up to 3 months) to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Cookies that may be set
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare. To protect the site from bots and attacks, Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies. These do not identify you personally and are not used for advertising.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Tells people and bots apart to protect the site (strictly necessary) | 30 minutes |
| cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Remembers that you passed a security check, if one was shown (strictly necessary) | Up to 1 year |
Strictly necessary cookies do not need your consent because the website cannot be delivered securely without them.
Google Maps
Our Contact page can show a Google Map of our location. The map is not loaded until you click "Show map". Once loaded, Google may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy. If you don't click, no Google Maps cookies are set.
Fonts
The fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. Google Fonts does not set cookies, but your browser sends your IP address to Google when the fonts load. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause security checks to appear more often, but the rest of the site will keep working.
Changes to this policy
If we change the cookies we use, we will update this page and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
