Installation FAQ
TV mounting questions
Answers to common questions about TV mounting, cable concealment and booking an install.
1. What size TVs can you mount?
Practically any size, from small bedroom TVs to 85" and larger living room screens. For very large or heavy screens we bring a second installer.
2. Do I need to buy the wall mount?
No. We can supply a mount sized for your TV, or install one you already have as long as it is rated for your screen's weight and size.
3. Can you mount on brick, stone or above a fireplace?
Yes. We use the correct masonry anchors for brick, stone and concrete, and check heat clearance and viewing height above fireplaces.
4. Can you hide the cables?
Yes. Where the wall allows, we run power and HDMI inside the wall using an in-wall kit. On brick or concrete we use slim, paintable raceways.
5. How high should my TV be mounted?
For most rooms the middle of the screen should be close to eye level when you are seated. If the TV has to go higher, for example above a fireplace, a tilting mount angles it down for comfortable viewing.
6. How long does an installation take?
A standard mount usually takes about 1 to 2 hours. In-wall cable concealment or a soundbar adds some time; we will tell you up front.
7. How much does it cost?
It depends on TV size, wall type and extras like cable concealment. Send the form and we will reply with a fixed price, so there are no surprises on the day.
8. Is your work guaranteed?
Yes. We are insured, and every install comes with a one-year workmanship warranty. If something we installed is not right, we come back and fix it.
